London

'If you, are bored with London, you are bored with life', goes the famous saying. There is a lot of truth in it. We have just come back from London and agree entirely. We saw all must – see places for first time visitors to London: Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tower, Tower Bridge, the British Museum and Trafalgar Square.

London Eye- we experienced the full glory of London by taking a ride in one of the capsules. On a clear day views can be breathtaking.

Piccadilly Circus is a perfect venue for street artists.
Notting Hill is worth visiting for it's own sake. This place is bursting with life, offers good cuisine, hundreds of boutiques and second-hand shops.

Flea market on Portobello Road (Notting Hill). You can also listen to buskers and taste many dishes there.

So many cabs and double-deckers in one place? It must be in London!
Nothing better than a cup of tea at the bar.
Or something else…
Big Ben- goes without saying.
Education matters! Even on a trip…
Buckingham palace
St. Paul's Cathedral
The British Museum - the British Museum's remarkable collection spans over two millions years of human history. We were interested in Egyptian mummies.
The Tower - We explored the powerful fortress, protecting the Crown Jewels.

The National Gallery - we saw hundreds of the most famous paintings (dating from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century).
The impression that you can see 'the whole of London' is illusionary - it takes many visits to see it all. London calling! See you next time.
Tate Modern – excellent collection of contemporary art in a huge converted power station.
Westminster Abbey – this magnificent abbey is the crowning and burial site of most English monarchs.
City cruises – we took part in a guided sightseeing tour on the River Thames.
Our guide was handsome!
The Monument – this beautiful stone column was built in 1677 to commemorate the 1666 Great Fire of London.
Madame Tussauds – we saw lifelike wax figures of famous people.
We are posing for pictures.
City look!

 China Town!
